Marina K.- Legal Supervisor
As a supervisor, Marina is in charge of training new team members and provides assistance to our legal assistant staff in responding to client inquiries and team quality and assurance monitoring.
Marina is an experienced legal professional supporting immigration cases, including family-based petitions, employment authorization, adjustment of status, and PERM processes.
Marina holds a Master’s degree in Law from Belarus and has over eight years of legal experience. She also completed an American Bar Association (ABA)-approved Legal Studies program at the College of Lake County, graduating with academic distinction.
Fluent in Russian and English, she works with clients from diverse backgrounds and helps guide them through the immigration process.
Litzi V.- Legal Assistant
As a dedicated legal assistant, trained directly by our office manager, supervisor and fellow legal assistant teammates Litzi is highly motivated and now responsible for wide range of cases from family based, work authorizations, FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) to NVC (National Visa Center) cases.
Litzi has over five years’ client service experience and she is a pre-law student at University of Illinois Chicago.
Fluent in Spanish and English, she supports clients from diverse communities, including those facing language barriers.
Ilona P. - Legal Assistant
Now a legal assistant, Ilona plays a key role in supporting our clients with asylum application process, under direct guidance by founding attorney Jason Sager.
Ilona has over three years customer service experience and she is a student at McHenry County College working on completing her Legal Studies program. Fluent in Ukranian, Russian and English, she creates a welcoming environment and supports legal staff with clerical duties, making her a vital team member to our office.
Mehvish N. - Legal Assistant
As a legal assistant Mehvish is compassionate in learning and understanding in depth U.S. immigration processes, especially because she is assisting primarily with Asylum and U-Visa based cases.
Mehvish holds a Bachelor's Degree from DePaul University with her focus of study of the legal system like law enforcement, courts, corrections and structural inequities, victimology, and policy analysis.
Fluent in Hindi and English, she supports clients from diverse communities, including those facing language barriers.
She values building meaningful connections and strives to ensure every client feels comfortable, respected, and well-informed.
